About Us
Hello, my name is Larysa and I am the principal designer for Petal Talk.
At Petal Talk my goal is to be producing designs that are consistently new and inspiring in the wedding industry. Most of my inspiration starts with curating a colour palette and letting the flowers and foliage direct the shape of the arrangements.
I believe celebrating and making much of life events such as weddings and other milestones is what enriches our memories and relationships which we can cherish for years down the road.
You’ll often see my husband Mitchell working alongside me designing a ceremony floral installation or carrying buckets of flowers and supplies during event setup and teardown. We can’t wait to hear from you about your wedding and event flower needs!
Sustainability
The wedding industry can produce a lot of waste, here’s what Petal Talk does to minimize our footprint with every wedding and event:
- Never using Floral Foam (the green foam is toxic and is essentially a plastic that doesn’t decompose! There are plenty of better alternatives)
- Support local flower farmers whenever possible. Imported flowers are still beautiful, but we always look for local first.
- Properly disposing of flowers after the event (composting)
